Armour Group Inc. and our affiliates and subsidiaries (“Company” or “We”) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it by complying with this policy. We are committed to respecting the privacy of our clients and have prepared this policy to inform you of our policy concerning the collection, use and disclosure of personal information. This policy will apply to information collected from and about:
(a) policy holders and/or claimants of insurance certificates or warranty contracts;
(b) individuals making a purchase of a Company product;
(c) individuals or organizations with whom the Company has done or currently does business with

Definitions for the Purpose of this Policy
“Client” means an individual who is a current or previous policy holder (with an insurance certificate or warranty contract) with the Company obtained by providing personal information to a lender or dealership which has been provided to the Company.
“Personal Information” means any information, recorded in any form, about an identified individual, or an individual whose identity may be inferred or determined from such information.
“Underwriter” means the insurer that underwrites the insurance certificate or warranty contract administered by Company.
In the event of questions about the access to Personal Information, the collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Information or this policy, please contact our Chief Privacy Officer as set out in the Contact Information and Challenging Compliance section of this policy.
Collection and Use of Personal Information
We collect your Personal Information directly from you, from a dealership or from a lender that you have provided your Personal Information to in the process of applying for an insurance certificate or warranty contract. We also collect your Personal Information when you correspond directly with us by phone, mail, email, or otherwise. By providing your Personal Information to the Company you agree and consent that the Company can collect, use and disclose your Personal Information in accordance with this Policy.
If you do not agree with these terms, you are requested not to provide any Personal Information to the Company. Unfortunately, an insurance certificate or warranty contract cannot be issued in your name without certain required Personal Information. If you choose not to provide such information, the Company will not be able to issue an insurance certificate or warranty contract in your name.
We only collect personal information necessary to effectively determine insurability and to register and administer the insurance certificate or warranty contract. In the event of a claim against an insurance certificate or warranty contract administered by the Company, the Personal Information collected will be forwarded to the Underwriter to confirm the details of coverage under the policy or contract. We may
collect the following information:
- Name;
- Contact information;
- Date of birth;
- Vehicle details;
- Loan/lease information;
- Coverage information;
- Dealer/lender information;
Our use of Personal Information is limited to the purposes to determine insurability and to register and administer the insurance certificate or warranty contract and/or as outlined below.
Disclosure of Your Information
We may disclose Personal Information that we collect or you provide as described in this privacy policy:
- To the Underwriter.
- To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
- In accordance with applicable law, to a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which Personal Information held by the Company about our customers is among the assets transferred.
- To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business and who are contractually obligated to keep personal information confidential, use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
- To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it.
- For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.
- With your consent.
We may also disclose your personal information:
- To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request, in accordance with applicable law.
- To enforce or apply our terms of use to any agreement with you including for billing and collection purposes.
- If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection.
Transferring Your Personal Information
We may transfer Personal Information that we collect or that you provide as described in this policy to contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business and who are contractually obligated to keep Personal Information confidential, and to use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
We may process, store, and transfer your Personal Information in and to locations outside of Canada, including in the United States, and your personal information may be collected, used, disclosed, stored and processed in the United States or elsewhere outside of Canada for the purposes described in this policy. In these circumstances, the governments, courts, law enforcement, or regulatory agencies of that country may be able to obtain access to your personal information through the laws of the foreign country. Whenever we engage a service provider, we require that its privacy and security standards adhere to this policy and applicable Canadian privacy legislation.

Retention
Except as otherwise permitted or required by applicable law or regulation, we retain Personal Information as long as we believe it is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected or as mandated by applicable regulatory guidelines including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
Under some circumstances we may anonymize your Personal Information so that it can no longer be associated with you. We reserve the right to use such anonymous and de-identified data for any legitimate business purpose without further notice to you or your consent.
Security
The Company endeavors to maintain adequate physical, organizational, procedural and technical security with respect to its offices and information storage facilities so as to prevent any loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure or modification of Personal Information. Personal Information we collect is managed from our offices in London, Ontario and Kelowna, British Columbia or as further identified by the Company.
Unfortunately, while the Company has security measures in place, the transmission of information via the Internet has an inherent risk and potentially is may not always be completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Information transmitted to the Company by a dealership or a lender. Any transmission of Personal Information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures.
Withdrawal of Consent
You may withdraw your consent to the collection, use or disclosure of your information at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions, and reasonable notice. However, without your consent we cannot issue or service an insurance certificate or warranty contract.
Access to Personal Information
It is important that the Personal Information we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your Personal Information changes. By law, you have the right to request access to, and correct the Personal Information that we hold about you.
If you believe that the Personal Information concerning you is not correct, you may request an amendment of that information by sending a written request to our Chief Privacy Officer as set out in the Contact Information and Challenging Compliance section of this policy.
We will provide access to your Personal Information, subject to exceptions set out in applicable privacy legislation. In the event the information cannot be disclosed, you will be provided with an explanation for the non-disclosure.
We may request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and your right to access, and to provide you with the Personal Information that we hold about you and/or make your requested changes. Applicable law may allow or require us to refuse to provide you with access to some or all of the Personal Information that we hold about you, or we may have destroyed, erased, or made your personal information anonymous in accordance with our record retention obligations and practices. If we cannot provide you with access to your personal information, we will inform you of the reasons why, subject to any legal or regulatory restrictions.
CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY
It is our policy to post any changes we make to our privacy policy on this website. If we make material changes to how we treat your Personal Information, we will notify you through a notice on the website home page.
We include the date the privacy policy was last revised at the bottom of the page. You are responsible for periodically visiting our website and this privacy policy to check for any changes.
